School Board is the staff-parent body involved in school decision-making, comprising four parents, the principal and two staff members (elected by the staff). Its tasks include endorsement of the school’s Strategic Plan, which lists the school priorities and how these will be implemented and resourced, the Annual Report, school policies, future directions and initiatives.
A copy of the Strategic Plan is available on request after the Term 1 School Board meeting. Parents are encouraged to contact representatives with any suggestions and/or concerns. Meetings are held twice a term and are advertised through the newsletter. One meeting per year is an ‘open’ meeting.
